Quest Description:

Regin is unable to make sense of the runes in the mining records you found. Strangely enough, they appear to be written in an Elvish script.

Objective 1
Gandelin is at Lin Giliath far to the south of Othrikar, in a region of lakes and bogs called Meluinen.

Regin recognized the mining records as being written in an Elvish script. He has asked you to find an Elf named Gandelin to decipher them.

Glambaen has translated the old records, but apparently a map is required before the directions will make sense. You should return to Regin with the deciphered records.
